Do I need my phone?
No. The case includes built-in eSIM, so it can stay connected without your phone nearby. Recordings, summaries, and outputs sync to the Plaud app when available.
Can I use the case for recording?
Yes. The case can be used on its own to capture in-person conversations and speak to agent. Recording distance and performance may vary depending on environment, noise level, speaker volume, and device position.
Can I use the earbuds without the case?
Yes. The earbuds work independently for calls, online meetings, music, and agent activation¹. The case adds in-person capture, 4G LTE, speaker output, and charging.
Do the earbuds record both online meetings and phone calls?
Yes. A VPU microphone in each earbud captures both incoming and outgoing audio on phone calls and online meetings.
How is Plaud One different from Plaud Note Pro?
Plaud Note Pro is built for professional note-taking. It captures in-person meetings and handheld phone calls, processes audio on your phone, and delivers AI-powered notes and summaries.
Plaud One is a wearable AI device built around the agent. It captures in-person meetings through the case and phone calls and online meetings through the earbuds — with 4G LTE real-time processing that works independently without your phone. Beyond notes, Plaud One understands your intent and gets things done with agents.
Is it water resistant?
The earbuds are rated IP54. The case is rated IP52. Water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and may decrease over time with normal use.
What is the battery life?
Battery life varies by usage, settings, environment, and feature. Earbuds support up to 6 hours of listening with ANC off, or up to 4.5 hours with ANC on. With the charging case, total listening time is up to 36 hours. For recording, earbuds support up to 6 hours of continuous recording, and the case supports up to 25 hours.
What is the size and weight of Plaud One
Each earbud weighs 4.5 g (0.16 oz). The charging case weighs 62.5 g (2.20 oz). Plaud One uses a half-in-ear fit and comes in white.
Where is 4G LTE available, and is there an extra cost?
4G LTE availability may vary by region and carrier coverage. 4G LTE access is included with Plaud One Limited Explorer Edition. Future plan will be shared separately.
